SC / ST Committee

The SC/ST Committee of the college is constituted to promote equality, social justice, and an inclusive academic environment for students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The committee works to ensure that every student receives equal opportunities in education and campus activities without discrimination or bias. The committee provides guidance and support to SC/ST students regarding admission, scholarships, government schemes, academic matters, and other educational opportunities. It also creates awareness about the rights, facilities, and welfare provisions available to eligible students under applicable government rules and regulations. The SC/ST Committee encourages students to report any concern related to discrimination, harassment, or difficulties faced during their academic journey. Such matters are addressed with confidentiality, fairness, and due consideration. The committee also organizes awareness programmes, counselling sessions, and activities that promote equality, dignity, mutual respect, and social harmony among all members of the college community.
