Gender Sensitization Committee

The Gender Sensitization Committee of the Pharmacy College is constituted to promote a safe, inclusive, respectful, and gender-sensitive environment for all students, faculty members, and staff. The committee works towards creating awareness about gender equality, dignity, mutual respect, and equal opportunities within the institution. The committee organizes awareness programs, seminars, workshops, discussions, and campaigns on topics such as gender equality, prevention of gender-based discrimination, respectful behaviour, women's rights, workplace safety, and prevention of sexual harassment. It encourages students to understand and respect the rights, responsibilities, and dignity of every individual, irrespective of gender. The committee also provides a supportive platform for students and staff to raise concerns related to gender discrimination or harassment. It promotes confidentiality, fairness, and appropriate institutional action in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Through continuous awareness and sensitization activities, the committee aims to build a positive academic environment where every member of the Pharmacy College can learn, work, and participate freely with dignity and equal opportunity.
